We have carefully adapted the space and have made changes to our gym protocols to implement government guidance for working safely during Coronavirus CV19. The safety of our members, our staff and our visitors is paramount and our number one priority.

Keeping a safe distance

We have created safe spaces for your workout and have restricted the numbers of people attending the gym and classes at any one time. A one-way operational system will be in place. To help guide you, we are using signage and instructional markers throughout the gym.

Detailed cleaning policy

Our gym team have a ‘clean policy’ which includes a full antiviral clean down of all equipment morning and evening. We ask you to wipe down all the kit you have used when you have finished your own workout.

Self-cleaning stations

For added peace of mind, we've also installed new cleaning stations so that you can clean your kit before and after use. These can be found at strategic places around the gym.

Pre Booking and contactless logging in

Where possible, we ask that you pre-book to assist us in managing numbers. On arrival our contactless logging system should be used. This information will be used in accordance with the Government's Trace and Track scheme.

Hand sanitising stations

We provide hand sanitising stations so it's easy to regularly clean your hands during your visit. But it’s also important that you wash your hands before you arrive and after you leave.

Temperature Taking

On entry, all visitors must take and record their temperature. If your temperature is 37.8 or greater, we ask that you do not enter the facilities for the safety of all of our users.

What are the opening hours?

Weekdays -  06.00 - 20.30

Saturday  - 7.30 - 16.00

Sunday - 08.00 – 13.00

How many people can attend the gym?

 

We are limiting the number of people using the gym at any one time, so members can keep a safe distance from each other.

 

Do I need to pre-book my session? 

 

We advise you to book in to avoid disappointment, but it is not mandatory

 

How long is each session?

 

We ask that you stay a maximum of 2 hours

 

What shall I bring with me?

In order to maintain social distancing, we ask that you arrive and leave the gym in your exercise kit. We strongly advise members not to use the showers, unless essential. Please bring a towel, a mat if required and a full bottle of water with you.

What do I need to do on arrival?

There might be a small queue if you arrive at opening time so please practice social distancing. Where possible, please keep your personal belongings in your car. When entering, sanitize your hands and complete the NEW PARQ Health Form unless you have already done so, and check-in through the contact-less app on the counter desktop. The dry changing rooms will be available for use of the lockers when necessary. Members are advised not to use the showers, unless essential. 

 

How do I use the gym? 

On entering the building please use the main entrance door and follow the one-way system through the gym, exiting via the door in the far-right hand corner. Enjoy your workout and wipe down all equipment with the antiviral cleaner available at the ‘hygiene stations’. We shall be retaining the outside gym area for those who choose to do their work out in the fresh air.

Can I still book a 1:1 session with a PT? 

Yes, this is available. Please ask one of the Team.
