Morecore is the home of CrossFit Tamar; a continuously changing training structure that prioritises strength, high intensity conditioning and flexibility to ensure well balanced physical development.
There is no limit to the positive impact that regular exercise has on our physical and mental wellbeing. As well as the obvious physiological improvements that come with CrossFit training, you’ll connect with people, learn new skills, work as part of a team and be present. CrossFit Tamar is already a community; how would your life look in a year if you became a part of it?
You’ll always find a training home if you’re willing to do what you can to improve; there’s no egos and no hiding in CrossFit. Irrelevant of your experience or lifting level, you’re training alongside people who are there to do the same thing you are: to lead happier, healthier lives. It does help that most CrossFit athletes will sit down for a coffee/chat before (sometimes during) and after a class!
Combining conventional barbell training with an ever-growing arsenal of implements, CrossFit equipment is evolving every year; and we’re fully up to date. Our premium barbells, plates, rig and accessories are built to last, and we’re planning on testing them to the limit.
CrossFit is for everyone. If you’re prepared to leave your ego at the door and everything you have on the floor, you’ll find a group of people who are equally invested in your goals as they are in their own. Our coaching staff have the knowledge and experience to tailor a workout for every person who attends a class. CrossFit is for anyBODY and everyBODY.
CrossFit programming involves constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity across broad time and modal domains. Well programmed CrossFit gives you a toolbox of physical attributes to build a stronger, more balanced and more durable frame; there’s no room for one trick ponies.

CrossFit Teen is a strength and conditioning program designed for ages 10+ athlete or non-athlete.
We focus on the 10 general physical skills (listed below) to help them not only prosper and excel in their sport or activity of choice but also in their everyday lives. This period of development allows us as coaches to raise their awareness of their growing bodies and their self-awareness. We challenge
them physically and mentally through our workouts so that they develop and maintain good, healthy, lifelong habits!
Cardiovascular Endurance – getting enough oxygen to your body.
Stamina – sufficient energy to your muscles to keep going.
Strength – physical development of the main muscle groups.
Flexibility – when I was a kid I could……wheel, touch my toes, squat.
Power – developing work rate.
Speed – improving the time taken to complete an activity.
Co-ordination – completing multifactorial actions.
Accuracy – the right action to the right place at the right time.
Agility – the swerve and twist whilst maintaining correct posture.
Balance – developing the ability to maintain a controlled body position during task performance, so we can function effectively across all environments.
