Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga is is a highly structured vinyasa-style class. You will move through Assanas quickly and powerful, mastering a specific sequence of movements. This practice has a strong sense of purpose and you are forced to focus and grow. Ashtanga yoga is for you if you want a challenge and you love structure.

BEAST

BEAST is a lifestyle characterised by safe, effective exercise and supported by good nutrition. This class can help you achieve any goal from improved health, weight loss, improved strength and muscle build to better overall performance. This class works for everyone and is based on a form of high intensity interval training, combined with ever changing strength and conditioning exercises that include functional movements. This class takes no prisoners, you will be Beasted!

BodyBalance LesMills

Pilates is a mind body intervention that focuses on core stability, flexibility, muscle control, posture and breathing. Developed by Joseph Pilates the programme increases flexibility, movement confidence, strength and definition. Suitable for all ages and abilities.

BodyCombat LesMills

BodyCombat is a high energy martial arts-inspired workout. You’ll learn how to punch, kick and strike your way to superior fitness and strength. This non-contact workout requires no experience but teaches you moves from Karate,

BodyPump Les Mills

BodyPump is a weights class for absolutely everyone. This form of weight training will make you toned, lean and fit. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition (reps). BodyPump gives you a total body workout that burns lots of calories. It’ll also tone and shape your body, without adding
bulky muscles.  will show you all the moves and techniques to make your first class safe and fun.

Cardio Conditioning

Resistance training for strength & stamina interspersed with short bursts of cardio for optimum fat burning, suitable for all.

Core Strength

Core Strength is a fantastic mix of core strength, flexibility and abdominal muscle development. A class designed to improve your functional strength and help achieve a stronger and more defined core.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha will offer you a gentle introduction to basic yoga postures. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises). It will be relatively gentle, slow and great for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed style where they hold yoga poses longer. You should end up leaving class feeling longer, looser, and more relaxed.

HIIT

HIIT (High Intensity Interval training) is a total body, heart pumping, aerobic, strength and conditioning workout. This interval-based class combines full-body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and clear your mind.

Kettlebells

Kettlebells is a class that will help kick all your fitness goals into 5th gear!  Functional, sequenced exercises designed to work multiple muscle groups simultaneously.  Fast results for strength, endurance and muscle tone. 

Kickboxing

The class is aimed at adults (16+) and incorporates developmental stretching, various styles of kick-boxing, self-defence and weapons, as skills develop. The class will improve all round fitness, flexibility and strength. Sensei Jerry has been kick-boxing for over 25 years reaching 6th Dan level and has been teaching for around 10 years. Jerry is an enthusiastic member of the MoreCore Jacks Gym family.

Legends

Our Legends class is a whole body workout that can be adapted to suit all levels of fitness and activity. This class is a combination of aerobic, strength and flexibility exercises specifically designed for our members aged 50+ who prefer to exercise in a fun, social atmosphere.

Legs, Bums & Tums (LBT)

LBT is a conditioning class focusing on re-shaping the lower body; incorporates a mixture of exercises for the legs, thighs, buttocks and abdomen.  This is a low impact class, with an element of cardiovascular work suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.  

Pilates

Pilates is a mind body intervention that focuses on core stability, flexibility, muscle control, posture and breathing. Developed by Joseph Pilates the programme increases flexibility, movement confidence, strength and definition. Suitable for all ages and abilities.

Strength Development

Strength & Conditioning

Strength & Conditioning utilises light to moderate barbell weights. This group fitness class is designed to give you a total body workout with the emphasis on strength and conditioning through the means of Olympic lifting and compound movements, resulting in a stronger, more conditioned, versatile and toned you!

Suspension & Core

Suspension & Core is a form of resistance training utilising total body resistance exercise bands. The class incorporates bodyweight exercises in a variety of multi-planar, compound movements. These are done with the aim of developing strength, balance, flexibility, and joint stability simultaneously.

Spring to Fitness - Trampolining

Trampolining is a high intensity class, utilising trampettes and exercises, with the focus on toning and having fun whilst burning calories.

Technique Development

Youth Development Programme 

Our Youth Development Programme is designed for our Teen members aged between 15yrs & 18yrs. The programme is based on a 4 week rotation, where one of our instructors will go through various lifting techniques to ensure that the foundations are taught before being allowed onto the gym floor.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath.  The variable nature of Vinyasa Yoga helps to develop a more balanced body as well as prevent repetitive motion injuries that can happen if you are always doing the same thing every day.
